Mwambenja communicated that the seminar was for creating a meaningful platform to disseminate key knowledge to the participants over how they’re supposed to comply with their statutory taxes in order to reflect their new status of medium taxpayers.

“We’re also capacitating them on how they should make a professional and fruitful use of the DRD office where all of their tax-paying issues will now be handled,” he expressed.

As part of the initiated program, he unveiled that the authority, through the MTD, is mulling to male a physical visit of all medium taxpayers with the involved regions, to assist them overcoming challenges they encounter pertaining to compliance to needed taxes.
