CBE starts online Master’s Degree

COLLEGE of Business Education (CBE) has introduced online Master’s Degree courses that save time and cost following a rising demand for

none-classroom sessions.

The CBE Rector Prof Edda Lwoga told journalists recently that currently they are providing 10 Master’s Degrees in business and ICT and the experience gathered warrants the starting of online courses.

“We are starting with six online Master’s Degrees in six fields,” Prof Lwoga said adding that the semester starts in March. The college currently receiving applications for the courses.

“Online learning brings innovative learning resources, and often comes with many digital resources such as videos, e-books, and learning games and this improves teaching methods and makes lessons more interesting,” she said.

To go online, CBE invested in good infrastructure, modern technology and a good learning environment while emphasising academic values and good governance.

The online courses are Master’s in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Master’s in Business Administration, Finance and Banking and in Business Administration, Marketing Management.

Others are Masters in International Business Management, Masters in Supply Chain Management and Masters in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation.
