THE government has said it is aware about the two Tanzanian nationals missing in Israel.
According to a statement issued on Thursday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation’s Communication Unit, the missing Tanzanians are
among students studying Modern Agricultural Methods and Techniques in Israel.The statement said that the government has been working with relevant authorities and other parties to ascertain their whereabouts and bring them to safety.
“Efforts are ongoing and the ministry is in constant communication with their families to update them on the efforts,” the statement read in part.
It was further stated in the statement that nine Tanzanians living in Israel capitalised on the government’s offer of being assisted to return home, saying they were received at Julius Nyerere International Airport on October 18th this year.
