Tanzania announces over 20,000 teaching, health vacancies

The Government has announced a total of 21,200 vacancies for education and health cadres.

 The application is open from Wednesday, April 12, 2023.

The Minister of State in the President’s Office (Regional Administration and Local Government), Ms Angellah Kairuki announced the opportunities on Wednesday, courtesy of an employment permit endorsed by the Head of State, Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan.

 The statement issued by the President’s Office (Regional Administration and Local Government), stated that out of the announced posts, 13,130 is for primary and secondary school while the remaining 8,070 has been allocated for health experts.

  The age of the applicant has been considered, with priority given to applicants not to be over the age of 45 and for those who volunteered at various offices should also apply.

 The available employment opportunities are for certificate, diploma and bachelor’s degree holders who graduated between 2015-2022, the Minister added.

 “All the applicants will apply through the Tamisemi website. Those who have applied for a number of days are being urged to update their information,” she said as she insisted on adherence to the deadline.
