Chadema bigwigs held for flouting bail conditions

Leaders of opposition politician party Chadema have been detained by police for allegedly flouting their bail conditions.

The leaders were detained today at the Central Police Station in Dar es Salaam and are expected to appear in court tomorrow.
Chadema's Information Officer Tumaini Makene said that remanded leaders includes the Party's National Chairman Freeman Mbowe, General Secretary Vincent Mashinji, Deputy Secretary General John Mnyika, Salum Mwalimu and Central Committee Member Peter Msigwa, and Tarime Urban Mp Esta Matiko.
The leaders were detained in connection with the late NIT student, Akwilina Akwilini' s case.
