Suspicious 'land donated' to Makonda under spotlight

 LAND, Housing and Human Settlements Development, Minister, Mr William Lukuvi, today said stern measures will be taken against tycoon businessman, Mohamed Iqbal, for
allegedly handing over a piece of land to Dar es Regional Commissioner (RC), Mr Makonda if it will be established that it is not his genuine property.

Recently the RC was handed over 1,500 hectares as a donation in his jurisdiction to build small industries, something the Minister suspected that the plot was has been a government property.
He also  that it will next month reveal the names of all land rent defaulters
