Speaking in Dar es Salaam Imori
International Managing Director who also is the organiser of the event,
Mr Leo Nyanduga said on Tuesday that the exhibition is a particular
platform for financial institutions to come together and provide
financial education to society.
“There has been lack of adequate
awareness on financial sector and services within the society therefore
this will be an opportunity for stakeholders to meet their clients,” Mr
Nyanduga said.
Tanzania Bankers Exhibition is aimed at
putting all financial sector under one roof to share, exchange views and
clarify the challenges facing financial sector in Tanzania.
The 2016 exhibition is expected to be
the largest and most high-powered event in the country’s banking and
financial sector in more than a decade.
The exhibition will provide exclusive
insight into the government’s policies for the financial sector and how
banks are preparing to reintegrate into the global financial system.
It is expected that the earmarked
audience and general population will gain extensive knowledge on the
financial sector, financial innovation and most importantly, the state
of our economy and its growth
