More than 100 companies from 31 countries are set to participate
in the Project East Africa Summit to be held in Nairobi later this
month.
The summit will provide a platform for leading
decision makers to engage with international and local investors to
showcase the abundant opportunities available throughout the region.
“It
will also be an avenue where national and international audience can
network and forge meaningful business partnerships,” a communication
sent to newsrooms read in part.
KENYAN SPOTLIGHT
Further,
it will highlight how Kenya as a central hub for the whole East Africa
region supports foreign investment and maintains a trusted stability
within the regional market.
The event will be held at
the Nairobi Intercontinental Hotel on February 16-17, 2016, and will be
attended by several cabinet secretaries from Kenya, and ministers from
around the East Africa region.
It will be hosted by
the Kenyan Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and co-hosted by the
East Africa Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.
