The detectives, supported by police officers, also staged simultaneous raids in the homes of former Devolution Principal Secretary Peter Mangiti, former NYS director general Nelson Githinji and 11 other senior NYS officials among them Adan Harakhe, a deputy director.
Ms Waiguru’s lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi told journalists that three EACC detectives had done a thorough search at her house and picked several documents they were looking for.
He said Ms Waiguru had allowed the detectives to do the search although she was not in the house.
The detectives had search warrants issued by the courts, according to a report in The Standard.
Ms Waiguru’s residence is in Kihingo in Kitisuru; Harakhe’s lives in Nasra estate, between Mama Lucy Hospital and Bee Centre.
Mr Githinji resides in Riverside Lane, while Mr Mangiti’s house is in Karen, Mokoiyet Road.
