ir projects are viable so that they can easily access loans from financial institutions.
This would enable them to meet the country’s high demand for electricity especially in rural areas where agriculture is the main activity.
This was revealed recently by CRDB Bank Credit Analyst Musa Thomas Lwila at the stakeholders meeting held in Dar es Salaam late last week.
“If you have a viable project, don’t hesitate to go to CRDB Bank or any other microfinance institution to see how we can fit your needs so that you can contribute to the growth of renewable energy businesses that deliver innovative and environmental friendly technologies,” he said.
“The availability of funds will depend on the project that you’re planning to carry out or what kind of business you’re planning to carry out,” he said.
“As a bank, we normally finance or support any project that can bring changes to local communities and the interest rates will depend on the project that you’re planning to carry out,” he said.
