Operations at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport are back to normal after fog which disrupted travel on Thursday cleared.

Two flights delayed from taking off from JKIA and two others were diverted to Moi International Airport, Mombasa early on Thursday morning due to poor visibility as a result of the fog, Kenya Airports Authority said in a statement.

According to KAA, flights KQ 311 and KQ 342 were diverted to Mombasa between 7am and 8am. Two flights belonging to Air Uganda and Africa Express were delayed from taking off for about 30 minutes during the same period.
