The national Load, Spend & Win promotion by
NationHela came to a close Thursday, with a 25-year-old Nairobi project
manager being declared the winner.
Mr Kevin Amateshe,
who won two nights for two at Serena beach hotel in Mombasa and Lake
Elementaita Serena camp, said: “This is my first-ever time to
participate in a promotion and I am pleased to have won.”
He
becomes the third winner of a promotion that has been running since
August 25 to reward loyal users of the NationHela Visa card.
Users of the card were earning one entry into a monthly draw for every Sh2, 000 spent from their cards.
“I
loaded my card several times and when I received a call that I had won,
I thought it was a hoax call,” he said as he boarded a vehicle to his
first destination with his fiancée.
The card can be
used by swiping at any Visa outlet countrywide, including supermarkets,
fuel stations, chemists, bars and restaurants. The card is operated
jointly by Nation Media Group and Diamond Trust Bank
