Samsung and Multichoice Kenya have embarked on a
digital migration promotion that will see consumers get a High
Definition (HD) decoder or DStv decoder for buying Samsung brand
television sets.
The drive that will see consumers enjoy benefits of digital TV started last week and is valid while offers last.
A consumer qualifies for a free decoder, one-month
subscription and free installation with every purchase of select
Samsung TV models at any Nakumatt outlet countrywide.
Samsung general manager, consumer electronics Allan Oyier said that the offer applies to all Samsung TV’s E-series. He was speaking during the launch of the promotion at Nakumatt Westgate, Nairobi.
“The promotion is the second phase of a similar one run in February this year,” Mr Oyier said: “All a consumer needs to do is to buy a Samsung TV from as low as Sh59,995 and get a free decoder and one-month subscription”.
The type of decoder also depends on model of TV purchased.
Multichoice Kenya general manager Danny Mucira lauded the promotion saying that Kenyans are currently embracing digital pay TV in droves. “This deal offers consumers exclusive world class entertainment in line with best digital Pay TV platforms worldwide,” Mr Mucira said.
