Last month the chairman of defunct Constitution Review Commission (CRC), Judge Joseph Warioba formally tabled the second draft constitution to the Constituent Assembly.

Warioba showed what has to be done. The President is not very much into law as Warioba in terms of experience . Whoever wants to challenge Warioba must first read the Autobiography of this former Tanzania Attorney General - first Tanzanian or Tanganyikan to introduce international maritime laws alongside other lawyers. Warioba is legendary.

A single government is the only solution. We should only have alternating presidents serving on terms. If this time he comes from Tanganyika, next time he should come from Zanzibar and vice versa. They should all run a sovereign one government state assisted by a Prime Minister.

The future of our new constitution has been jeopardised by few politicians who wish to rule forever against wananchi’s wishes. I am not a fanatic of two governments because the system has created problems and there is no one among those who prefer it who has shown us the solutions.
On the other hand, supporters of three governments have shown us the benefit of the proposed system. This system is also supported by majority of Tanzanians.
A brave-patriotic politician will always support three governments, which is the ideal system which will strengthen our unity.

I look upon those who support the two governments system as selfish politicians who want to retain their positions in power. In the end, after they have satisfied themselves, they will break this Union because they are not fond of it as unification agent but as something through which they can benefit.
In conclusion, both sides should list down the advantages and importance of the system they are fronting and leave wananchi to decide on which system they prefer. Decision to be taken by wananchi should be regarded as final.
