AFRICA and Middle East internet users are set to benefit with additional rewards on achieving their target from a new campaign which is designed to motivate and drive sales for the latest security solutions.
Speaking to our reporter recently, the
Sophos Vice- President, Middle East and Africa, Mr Harish Chib, said the
rewards are a part of the company’s plan to encourage their silver and
authorised partners to generate revenue opportunities and achieve their
business goal.
“Our main aim is to drive our partners
to excel and incentivize them with rewards for their great effort. The
rewards are applicable on the sale of all the products logged between
May - October 2017.
Authorised and Silver partners are our
major source of SMB business in the MEA region. With this campaign,
Sophos’ objective is to reward and motivate the extensive list of
partners of these categories in the MEA region,” said Mr Chib.
He added that as part of their ‘Channel
First’ sales strategy, this initiative will help their partners to
expand their business across the channel in the Middle East and Africa,
saying that the Middle East and Africa region is divided into leading
and emerging countries and both have different targets.
He said that the Top three partners in both the regions achieving highest sales will be rewarded.
He said that being a partner-focused IT
security company, Sophos has a dedicated partner program for the Middle
East and Africa region, explaining that the program is well segmented
into four different on-boarding levels with different skills
certifications, sales and target activities and rewards and that it
provides access to the company’s comprehensive portfolio of
market-leading endpoint and network security products.
“Initiatives like Super Star Campaign
and Partner Programme for MEA illustrate Sophos’ commitment towards
being a truly channel first company that creates programmes and
incentives for better channel enablement and to accelerate Sophos
partner profitability,” added Mr Chib.
He said that Sophos’ MEA Partners are
now able to manage all Sophos solutions for every customer through a
centralised management platform, Sophos Central, adding that within
Sophos Central is Sophos Central-Partner, a specialised dashboard that
allows partners to distribute licences, add new customers on demand,
cross- and upsell Sophos Endpoint and Network Products, drive recurring
revenue and have a clear, real-time perspective on all customer
activity.
Mr Chib said that partners can respond
to security incidents faster and track alerts of all levels directly
from the dashboard, so time spent handling incidents, including minor
ones, is more productive and effective, saying that this also helps
partners to win customer loyalty.
“More than 100 million users in 150
countries rely on Sophos solutions as the best protection against
sophisticated threats and data loss,” concluded Mr Chib.
